Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order. Customers under 18 may use the website only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information while placing an order. Anvitara will not be responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect contact or address details.
Products and Services
We make every reasonable effort to display product colours, fabrics, designs, measurements and other details accurately. However:
- Colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.
- Handwoven, handmade, hand-dyed and artisan products may have minor variations in colour, weave, print or finish. These are natural characteristics and are not necessarily defects.
- Measurements may vary slightly because of the nature of the fabric, stitching or production process.
- Product availability is subject to stock.
Customers should carefully review the product description, size chart, care instructions and other information before placing an order.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes will be included in the displayed price or shown during checkout, as appropriate.
Delivery charges, customisation costs, tailoring charges and other applicable fees will be displayed before the order is confirmed.
Anvitara reserves the right to change product prices and promotional offers without prior notice. However, a price change will not normally affect an order that has already been confirmed and paid for.
If a product is listed with an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the affected order and issue a full refund of the amount paid.
Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance. An order is considered accepted only after you receive an order confirmation from Anvitara.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel an order because of:
- Product unavailability;
- Incorrect pricing or product information;
- Suspected fraudulent or unauthorised activity;
- Payment failure;
- Delivery limitations; or
- Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If a prepaid order is cancelled by Anvitara, the eligible amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
Payments
Payments may be processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Available payment methods will be displayed during checkout.
Anvitara does not normally receive or store complete card, bank-account, UPI PIN or similar confidential payment credentials. Such information is handled by the selected payment provider according to its own terms and privacy practices.
You confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method selected for the transaction. An order may be delayed or cancelled if payment cannot be verified.
Shipping and Delivery
Estimated dispatch and delivery times shown on the website are approximate and may vary depending on the destination, product availability, tailoring requirements, public holidays, courier operations and other circumstances.
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and an active contact number. Anvitara is not responsible for delivery failure resulting from incorrect information, the recipient’s unavailability or refusal to accept the parcel.
Risk of loss or damage passes to the customer upon successful delivery, subject to the customer’s rights under applicable consumer law.
Any externally damaged, opened or tampered parcel should be reported to us immediately, preferably with clear photographs and an unboxing video.
Returns, Exchanges and Refunds
Returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by Anvitara’s Return, Exchange and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
To request assistance, customers should contact us within the period specified in that policy and provide:
- Order number;
- Reason for the request;
- Photographs or video showing the issue; and
- Any other information reasonably required to verify the claim.
Products must ordinarily be unused, unwashed, unworn, unaltered and returned with their original tags and packaging.
The following items may not normally qualify for return or exchange unless they are defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or otherwise required to be accepted under applicable law:
- Custom-made or made-to-measure garments;
- Altered or tailored products;
- Blouses stitched to customer measurements;
- Products damaged through misuse or improper care;
- Products without their original tags; and
- Items specifically marked as non-returnable.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer right available under Indian law.
Product Care
Customers must follow the washing, ironing, storage and care instructions provided with the product or displayed on the website.
Anvitara will not be responsible for shrinkage, colour bleeding, fabric damage or other deterioration caused by incorrect washing, harsh chemicals, unsuitable ironing, improper storage or failure to follow care instructions.
Intellectual Property
All website content—including the Anvitara name, logo, slogan “Wear Your Story,” photographs, product designs, graphics, text, videos and website layout—is owned by or licensed to Anvitara and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, republished, sold or commercially exploited without prior written permission from Anvitara.
Customer Reviews and Submitted Content
If you submit a review, photograph, testimonial or other content, you confirm that:
- The content is accurate and based on your genuine experience;
- You own it or have permission to share it;
- It does not violate another person’s rights; and
